Comprehensive, Whole-Person Primary Care

I provide full-spectrum primary care across the lifespan, including management of hypertension, thyroid disorders, diabetes, asthma, musculoskeletal concerns, dermatologic conditions, and weight-related health goals. My training centers on caring for the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Symptoms do not exist in isolation. Your health is shaped by your history, environment, stressors, relationships, and goals. All of that matters in the exam room.

I take time with my patients. Questions are encouraged. Decisions are shared.

My approach is collaborative and individualized. We create treatment plans together, grounded in evidence-based Western medicine while respecting the broader care teams many patients choose. Some of my patients also work with acupuncturists, functional medicine providers, or naturopathic clinicians. When safe and appropriate, I welcome thoughtful integration and open communication.

SPECIALTIES & INTERESTS

  • I provide inclusive sexual and reproductive health services, including Pap smears, HPV screening, STI testing, PrEP, and gender-affirming care.

I understand that anatomy does not always align with identity, and that traditional medical environments have not always felt safe for LGBTQ+ patients. Pelvic exams can be especially challenging for transgender, nonbinary, and trauma-surviving individuals.

My approach is collaborative, consent-centered, and grounded in respect. We discuss what is necessary, why it matters, and how to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Your identity and lived experience are honored here.

  • I provide primary care that affirms the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

Medical systems in the United States have not always earned trust. Many patients carry experiences of bias, dismissal, or inequitable treatment that affect how safe it feels to seek care.

My approach is grounded in respect, cultural humility, and active listening. I am committed to addressing disparities, acknowledging lived experience, and partnering with you in care that honors your identity, history, and values.

  • I provide primary care that is inclusive of neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, sensory processing differences, learning differences, late-diagnosed adults and high-masking individuals and other cognitive variations.

Traditional medical environments can be overwhelming, overstimulating, or invalidating. Bright lights, rushed conversations, unclear expectations, and subtle judgment have kept many neurodivergent patients from feeling truly heard.

My approach is collaborative, respectful, and adaptable. We can adjust pacing, communication style, sensory input, and visit structure to meet your needs. Whether that means clear step-by-step explanations, written instructions, extra processing time, or minimizing sensory triggers, your comfort and autonomy guide our work together.

Your brain is not a problem to fix. It is part of who you are, and your care should reflect that.

  • I provide comprehensive women’s health care, including evaluation and treatment of vaginitis, Pap smears and cervical cancer screening, STI testing, contraception counseling, and menopausal hormone therapy (MHT).

I worked alongside a gynecologist in San Francisco for 19 years, where women’s health was central to my practice. During that time, we continued prescribing menopausal hormone therapy when appropriate, even when it fell out of favor in many settings. As a result, I have nearly two decades of experience thoughtfully prescribing and managing MHT.

I listen to and believe women. Symptoms are not minimized. Concerns are not dismissed. You deserve to feel informed, supported, and fully heard at every stage of life.
